Choose a product your audience has a reason to use
Begin with a reader’s task: building a website, sending a newsletter, producing a video or choosing a CRM. Choose a program only if its product can help with that task. A large advertised reward is weak evidence of fit. If you cannot explain a realistic use case, postpone the application and learn more about the product.
Check which products, plans and customer types qualify. A program for new business subscriptions may not pay for existing accounts or a reader’s free signup. Distinguish a customer-facing affiliate program from a partner program designed for agencies implementing the product for clients.
Prepare evidence of your own publishing work
Collect your website or channel URL, a concise audience description and two or three representative pieces of content. Explain your promotion plan with concrete formats: a tutorial, a comparison based on testing, a workflow example or a newsletter for subscribers who asked to receive it.
If you have traffic data, state its period and source. If the site is new, say so and show the content and plan you have. Do not invent visitors, subscribers, conversion rates or experience with the product. A reviewer can assess a modest but coherent application more easily than unsupported claims.
Before submitting, make sure key pages work on mobile, contact information is accessible and commercial relationships are disclosed clearly. These are useful readiness checks, not a universal guarantee of approval; each program sets its own acceptance rules.
- Your public website or channel and a clear description of its audience.
- Content examples relevant to the product’s actual use cases.
- Traffic sources and any measured audience figures, with dates.
- Planned formats, target customer geography and promotion channels.
- Questions about eligibility, payment access and allowed promotion.
Use this short application outline
“I publish [format] for [audience] at [URL]. They need help with [task]. I plan to demonstrate [product/use case] in [specific content format]. My traffic comes from [actual channels]. Here are relevant examples: [URLs]. My current audience figures are [measured figures and period, or an honest note that the channel is new]. Please confirm [unresolved eligibility or channel question].”
Replace the placeholders with accurate details. Avoid copying a product’s marketing claims as if they were your own test results. If you have not used a paid plan, specify what you have tested and what you still need to assess.
After approval, verify the account-specific offer
Record the approved rate and plan, attribution rule, payout conditions and traffic restrictions. The public page may advertise a tier that your account has not reached. Use the link supplied for your approved account and check that it goes to the intended destination before publishing it.
Keep a separate status for applied, approved and actively promoting. Follow up through the program’s contact process if required; submitting multiple duplicate applications is unlikely to clarify the decision. If rejected, examine the stated reason and improve the relevant content or fit before trying again.
The workspace in this directory lets you save programs and record your own progress. Its statuses are private notes, not confirmations from the provider. Public research also does not establish that you personally qualify or will receive a payout.
