Compare the first year and the period after it separately
Use the same comparison period for both programs. A higher starting percentage can coexist with a shorter base earning period or a requirement to retain a tier. If you estimate beyond that period, state whether you assume the tier will be reached and kept. Do not describe conditional continuation as an unconditional lifetime reward.
The duration and qualifying-action rows are important together: a customer must keep making eligible payments, and the affiliate must meet any stated tier conditions. Your actual audience’s fit, conversion and retention are not measured by this comparison.
Read the payment FAQ alongside the contract
Kit’s affiliate help center establishes its minimum, payment options and the point at which approved commissions can be withdrawn. MailerLite’s FAQ and contract differ on the exact minimum boundary, upgrade timing and fees. Follow both source links in the relevant row before assuming the more favorable version applies to your account.
A withdrawal threshold is a balance rule, not a promise of receiving money on that day. Kit describes a refund period before commissions are generated and a later monthly review. MailerLite describes a hold, Friday settlements and contract processing limits. Confirm country-specific methods and fees separately from the advertised rate.
The email platform policy is a separate decision
Earning for referring a new customer to an email service is different from using that service to send campaigns containing affiliate links. Check the service’s current acceptable-use rules for the email you intend to send, as well as the affiliate programme’s promotion rules. This table does not evaluate those email-content policies.
Choose the product for the reader’s workflow first. To claim a product is easier, more reliable or better at deliverability, you need separate product evidence and testing. We have not tested those claims and do not pick a universal winner here.
Questions to take to the provider
- Does the approved offer match the eligible plan my audience will buy?
- Can I meet and retain any tier assumed in my forecast?
- Does the provider accept my traffic channel and link placement?
- What cash threshold, payout method, validation period and fees apply to my account?
